Use the Ancestor Of term to select people who are an ancestor of a particular person within a specified number of generations or qualify due to the other properties.
Properties
Subject
Set the Subject property to the ID number of a person. You may use the [Picklist...] button to set the ID number.
Title
Use the Title property to set the title of the filter term. Gedcom Publisher will set the title automatically when you change the Subject property. If you want to use your own title, set the Title property after you set the Subject property.
Generations
Set Generations to the maximum number of generations to allow between the Subject and an ancestor. The Subject person's parents are generation 1.
Include Subject
If Include Subject is checked, the Subject will pass the filter. If Include Subject is not checked, the Subject will not pass the filter.
Include Spouses
If Include Spouses is checked, spouses of qualified ancestors will pass the filter. If Include Subject is checked and Include Spouses is checked, spouses of the subject will pass the filter.
Include Siblings
If Include Siblings is checked, siblings of qualified ancestors will pass trhe filter.
Include Sibling Spouses
If Include Sibling Spouses is checked, spouses of siblings of qualified ancestors will pass the filter.
