Overview
The Summary item in the Person Entry list controls the appearance of the line of text that includes the gender, ID, living status, and lifespan. Here is an example:
M, #2, b. 17 February 1928, d. 14 December 1977
Properties
Show Gender
The Show Gender checkbox controls whether person entries include the subject's gender. The default value is checked.
The text used for the genders is drawn from the Gender Strings section.
Show ID
The Show ID checkbox controls whether person entries include the subject's ID number. The default value is unchecked.
Gedcom Publisher uses the Person Entry Strings.ID Prefix text as a prefix for the ID number.
Show Living
The Show Living checkbox controls whether person entries include the subject's living status. The default value is unchecked.
The text used for the living status is drawn from the Living and Not Living properties in the Living Strings section.
Show Lifespan
The Show Lifespan checkbox controls whether person entries include the subject's lifespan. The default value is checked.
The format of the lifespan and the dates included in the lifespan are controlled via the Dates Section properties Subject Lifespan and Subject Date.
