Sumatra PDF

Sumatra PDF is a popular open source PDF reader that will also open EPUB and MOBI files. You may download Sumatra PDF from the Sumatra PDF web site.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend using Sumatra PDF to read EPUB files. It appears to have either bugs or missing features related to handling CSS styles embedded in EPUB files, and as a result, books produced by Gedcom Publisher are not rendered properly.

When Gedcom Publisher starts, it will attempt to find Sumatra PDF and add it as an item on the File > Browse Book submenu.

If you have installed Sumatra PDF in a location that Gedcom Publisher does not search, add Sumatra PDF as a Viewer tool as described on the Tools page. The correct .exe file is named SumatraPDF.exe. Set the Accepts property to "EPUB".

The locations that Gedcom Publisher searches are listed below. If you accept the default values when you install Sumatra PDF, it will be installed in one of these locations.
